The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of San Francisco has been a member of various faith based organizations with the purpose of witnessing and sharing the teachings of our Christian Orthodox Faith.  Membership in such organizations, however, does not mean that the Greek Orthodox Church accepts or supports initiatives that may be taken by a particular organization.

The SIX DAYS OF CREATION course at St. Nicholas Ranch in the rolling hills of Central California (40 miles east of Fresno) is offered as a retreat with lodging and meals provided. The course begins with an introductory lecture at 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 8. The workshop ends Saturday, May 14 at 11:30 a.m. Make travel plans accordingly. The course is open to 25 students. Tuition fee of $675 includes instruction, work manual and all materials needed to complete an icon. The fee for six nights lodging and three meals a day is $475. Total retreat package is $1,150. You may register without paying the full amount at this time, but a 10% nonrefundable deposit is required to be placed on the participant list. Space is limited and booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

In the spirit of Christ’s love, International Orthodox Christian Charities offers emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and strengthens the capacity of the Orthodox Church to so respond.

Mr. Dan Christopulos, MDiv, MSW, serves as the Development Director of IOCC.  He has actively participated in parish ministry, spending almost 3 years in the mission field in East Africa, serving in various communities in the United States, and assisting with the establishment of the Archdiocesan Office in Hong Kong. Dan has also managed several federal grants in the health field and served as a consultant for governmental and nongovernmental organizations.
