An Update to Antonia Bledsaw
Just a quick update on Antonia’s progress as we head into the Christmas Season. “Nia is doing great! She’s had a few bouts with colds and such, typical for a toddler in kindergarten, but she just keeps on surprising us with her joy and fortitude. She is actually in kindergarten now-the school she is in has a wonderful special ed program. Nia goes half days as they cannot hire a nurse to do her feedings throughout the day. But she goes Monday thru Friday and takes the bus back and forth. It’s funny, but she really enjoys riding the bus! Her face lights up when Katrina tells her the bus is here. And she loves school too. They do great work with her, and it shows. They even take her to the ‘normal’ kids kindergarten a couple of days a week.
