Did you know that the Holy Sanctuary was originally built for $10.1 million? In 2023, we took out a ten-year loan with a fixed interest rate of 5.58% for five years and a five-year adjustable rate on a $5 million loan. This resulted in a monthly mortgage payment of roughly $28,896. Since July 2023, we have reduced our mortgage to $3.9 million, and we've received over $1 million in donations for the Sanctuary's beautification. We've allocated more than $100,000 to support IOCC, OCMC, Hellenic College, Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology, monastic communities both locally and abroad, as well as mission efforts in Kenya, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. This does not include the philanthropy of our Philoptochos Society! As we gather more funds for our building project, we will continue paying down the principal in $100,000 increments. For details on how to contribute to reducing our principal or to donate toward the Sanctuary's beautification, please speak with Fr. Christopher. Glory be to God!
