Farewell to Founders’ Hall
On July 2, 2023, our parish family gathered for our final divine service inside Founders’ Hall—a sacred space that served as the spiritual womb of our community for nearly a quarter of a century.
Since the parish's infancy, this hall transformed week after week into a sanctuary where infants were baptized, couples were united in holy matrimony, families wept in times of grief, and the faithful consistently received the Holy Eucharist. It was here that our identity as a community was forged in love, patience, and mutual sacrifice.
Honoring Our Roots, Embracing Our Future
While saying goodbye to Founders' Hall as our primary house of worship brought a natural sense of nostalgia and deep emotion, it marked the fulfillment of the vision laid down by our founders. The conclusion of our liturgical life in the hall paved the immediate path for our historic transition into the newly completed, permanent Byzantine sanctuary next door.
Founders’ Hall will remain an essential anchor of our church campus, shifting its primary role back to its original intent: a bustling center for fellowship, educational ministries, youth activities, and community outreach.
We offer our boundless gratitude to the Lord for the decades of grace poured out upon us within Founders' Hall, and we step across the plaza into our new temple with hearts full of praise, ready to write the next chapter of the Saint Anna Metropolis Shrine.
