Elaina Spiro is a LA and Nashville-based cellist specializing in session recording work, orchestral and chamber playing, touring, arranging, and live performances of all genres. Her career highlights solo, chamber, and orchestral performance of both classical and contemporary nature.
Elaina holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Cello performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee ('24) and a Master of Music Degree in Cello performance from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music ('26). This summer, she won a position as a cellist in the Nashville Civic Orchestra's upcoming inaugural 2026-2027 season. She has also performed nationwide as a cellist with
the Boston Conservatory Orchestra, USC Thornton Symphony, San Bernardino Symphony, Riverside Philharmonic, and the San Gabriel Valley Symphony, among others. She has held and performed principal cello positions in renowned halls such as Chicago Symphony's Orchestra Hall, Boston Symphony's Symphony Hall, and NEC's Jordan Hall, among others. Elaina is a founding member of the Nashville String Quartet, who regularly perform and record in Nashville, TN, and surrounding areas.

Battlefield 6’ blockbuster video game, Dreamworks' ‘Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie’ feature film, Bungie's ‘Destiny 2:The Edge of Fate’, and 'Roundball Rock' NBA theme song on NBC, Disney Cruise Line’s ‘The Treasure’, Walt Disney World’s ‘Once Upon a Christmas’ parade, among others. She has recorded at legendary studios including Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Bros Studios, Evergreen Studios, Igloo Studios, RCA Recording Studios, Ocean Way Recording Studios, Sonic Fuel Studios, Altamira Sound, and John Williams Scoring Stage, among others. She has performed live with pop-icons Nessa Barrett, with over 2 billion streams and 30 million followers across social media platforms, and artist Lorelei Marcell.
Elaina is dedicated to bringing music to underserved communities. She is the head of Music Therapy at the Aristevi Foundation, an Orthodox Christian-based healing retreat and support center for human trafficking survivors, based in Nashville, TN. Elaina organizes and performs concerts for survivors and at fundraising outreach events. Elaina is also an active member of Salastina's Vital Sounds Program since 2024, performing weekly for patients, their families, and medical staff of UCLA Hospital’s ICU and Huntington Health’s CCU.
When not making music, Elaina cultivates her other favorite artistic mediums. She is an active gymnast and dancer studying ballet, contemporary, and hip-hop. She is a trained Byzantine Iconographer and her paintings have been featured in churches across the globe. Elaina also enjoys reading and writing in every spare moment. When not creating art, she is the biggest supporter of consuming the arts, and enjoys doing so the most when she is alongside her friends and family.
